Though the people of Guatemala may live very far away, they like to eat many of the same kinds
of foods. Some of these foods include tacos, ice cream, chicken, rice, and soup. They also enjoy some of the same beverages
such as water (of course) and beer.
Corn is another very big product in Guatemala. Surprisingly, though, the stalks are about 2
times bigger than the ones we grow here in the United States Of America. Many things that Guatemalans eat have some form of
corn in them. Almost every single Guatemalan loves corn. Even if you don't originally like it, the taste will grow on you.
This is very unlike the United States, where many people dislike different foods. Some Guatemalans even claim that no matter
where you go in the country, the smell of corn is always with you.
